European Virtual Workshop
January 25 @ 12:30 pm - 4:40 pm ESTFree
This is your one-stop virtual workshop for coming to know the emerging technologies and methods in the environmental world with regards to bioremediation and site characterization. On top of that, you will be introduced to a wide array of techniques and tools that will provide you with extremely accurate data for a given site’s needs. Selecting the right technology involves sorting through what the options are in your given situation, while also taking into account what would be the most cost-effective option.
Marco Falconi is a remediation researcher with ISPRA. Through the years he has held a number of teaching positions with universities and private training companies and has a wide array experience as a collaborator on projects with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, European Environment Agency, and EuroGeoSurveys.
Ewa Andersen is the Solution Sales Engineer at Krüger Soil Remediation. She has been involved in the evaluation and design of several of the 20+ In-Situ Thermal Remediation projects performed by Krüger to date. She has worked globally with the chemical industry in providing service and project support and execution of both green and brown field fertilizer projects and gas plants.
Robert Wagenvald is the Director of QM Environmental International. Robert founded his own company 22 years ago which was aimed at setting up an European distribution network for MicroCat bioaugmentation products which is now established in 20 European countries.
Dr. Kate Clark is the Technical Director for Microbial Insights. Dr. Clark holds a B.S. in Biology from Rhodes College and received Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa. She is currently responsible for project development, implementation, and reporting — aiding clients from assay selection through result interpretation.
John Sohl is President and CEO of Columbia Technologies. He has managed over 2,000 high-resolution and direct sensing projects around the world over the past twenty-five years. John holds three U.S. and two international patents involving direct sensors and the use of real-time information systems.
