VI – the Laboratory Analysis
July 22, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT$35
Vapor intrusion is the migration of vapor-forming chemicals from any subsurface source into a office, home, or industrial building. It all started in the 1980s with concerns over radon intrusion. During the 90s, environmental professionals began to understand that hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents in soil, groundwater, and sewers and drainlines could also pose threats to indoor air quality via the vapor intrusion pathway. This EnviroClass will teach you all you need to know about the laboratory analysis for your VI projects.
Sam will begin this class by teaching us how to distinguish indoor vapor sources using compound specific isotope analysis. Danny will be discussing the some of the most talked about items in the laboratory analysis world. Some of the topics discussed are common vapor intrusion media types, TO-17, preparing for TO-15a, investing for the future and much more.
