Jim Depa

Mr. Depa is a geologist and senior project manager at Terracon. He is a 2005 graduate from the University of Illinois with a BS in Geology, including advanced course work in Geographic Information Sciences (GIS). He has more than 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting field and specializes in creating 3D conceptual site models to assess complex sites and design cost-effective remediation solutions. He has modeled high-resolution data on over 125 environmental investigation projects, including several which have been published in the peer-reviewed textbook, “Urban Watersheds – Geology, Contamination, and Sustainable Development”. Mr. Depa has also created exhibits for four environmental litigations and provided testimony for his role in creating several animations used as trial exhibits in a multi-million-dollar litigation.
