Dr. Rafic Minkara

Dr. Minkara is the Vice President of Research and Development for Headwaters Resources. He is responsible for the commercialization of new technologies in the areas of coal combustion product quality improvement and utilization. Dr. Minkara has over 25 years of professional experience providing and managing engineering, construction and R&D activities in the environmental, building products and utility industries. His experience also includes water treatment, air pollution control, waste management and site remediation. He has developed numerous new technologies and holds many patents and records of invention in environmental protection, coal fired combustion and instrumentation. He has a B.S., M.S. and PhD degrees in Engineering and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Toledo. He is a registered professional engineer.
