Derek Pizarro

Senior Product Manager, AST Environmental, Inc.

Derek Pizarro is a Senior Product Manager at AST Environmental, Inc. and is a Certified Professional Geologist. He has 22 years of experience in environmental remediation applications, specifically contaminant transport studies, fractured bedrock characterization and injection, and reagent bench-scale testing and design for environmental sites and industrial process waste streams.

Before joining AST, Derek was a Product Director and GM for an environmental chemical manufacturer, with previous experience in environmental consulting and bedrock services. Derek received a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Environmental Geosciences from Lafayette College and has served in technical leadership roles with RE3 Conference and EnviroWorkshops.

Doug Gray

Innovative Remedial Technologies Leader, AECOM

Doug Gray has nearly 40 years of experience in project management and engineering, specializing in the development, design, costing, and optimization of innovative remedial solutions. He serves as the Innovative Remedial Technologies Leader for several of AECOM’s key clients and provides technical remediation support across multiple offices and regions.

He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Groundwater Professional. He has also served in technical leadership roles with a variety of conferences and EnviroWorkshops.
